The Germans continue to display their superiority in equestrian, taking home the gold and bronze medals in the individual eventing after winning the gold in the team event.

Michael Jung, riding Sam, took home gold. Sweden’s Sara Algotsson Ostholt won silver on Wega, and Sandra Auffarth took bronze on Opgun Louvo. Zara Phillips, the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth and 13th in line for the crown, finished in 8th.

With that out of the way, let’s get to the important takeaway from this event. The horses are jumping over miniature versions of some British landmarks including a mini-Stonehenge.

This of course looks suspiciously similar to Spinal Tap’s Stonehenge set, although it is unlikely any of the riders were as upset with the miniature version of the stone monolith as David St. Hubbins and the rest of the band.

Finally, and unfortunately the horse with perhaps the most boring name, Sam, took home the gold, while Coolio goes home empty handed after finishing in 21st (at least he got the silver in Rachel vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off).
