When they start playing the Spice Girls, you know the party’s over. And just like that, the Summer Olympics came to a close. We’ve dealt with its stories, big and small, on “Bomani & Jones,” but we feel like these Olympics needed a catchy nickname. How could something so commercial not have a nickname?

The only thing missing from the 2012 Olympics is a good nickname for the Games. Bomani Jones attempts to give it one.
With that in mind, we took one more trip down memory lane and summed up the Games in five easy-to-remember ways. This also gave us a chance to touch on all the absurdity, contrived and otherwise, we didn’t have time to address before. No stone could be left unturned, especially when there was something to laugh about.
