The 2012 Summer Olympics continued on Monday with three medaling events in Men’s Greco-Roman Wrestling, as the finals for the 60kg, 84kg, and the 120kg categories took place.
2012 Summer Olympics: Mijain Nunez Of Cuba Takes Gold In 120kg Men’s Greco-Roman
In the Men’s 60kg Greco-Roman Wrestling competition, Omid Haji Noroozi of Iran took the gold medal, defeating Revaz Lashkhi of Georgia. Russia and Japan both scored bronze medals as Zaur Kuramagomedov and Ryutaro Matsumoto won their bronze medal matches.
The 84kg event saw Russia’s Alan Khugaev defeat Karam Mohamed Gaber Ebrahim of Egypt in the the gold medal round while Danyal Gajiyev of Kazakhstan and Damian Janikowski of Poland each took home a bronze medal.
In the big boy event, the Men’s 120kg Greco-Roman, Cuba’s Mijain Lopez Nunez won the gold medal defeating Estonia’s Heiki Nabi, who took home the silver. Riza Kayaalp of Turkey and Johan Euren of Sweden both took home a bronze medal.
