Rower Henrik Rummel Addresses His Podium ‘Package’
Now we know what it takes to get some national attention for the sport or rowing.
Never before has a bronze-medal rower gotten so much attention as the U.S. Men’s Four has received after the medal ceremony on Saturday. As the medalists always do, the four men -- Scott Gault, Charles Cole, Henrik Rummel and Glenn Ochal -- stood before the cameras and the medal presenter in their official uniforms ... which are skin-tight.
Rummel in particular got so much attention for the photo, he felt he had to respond, as he did on Reddit today:
This is me and I swear it’s not erect! I don’t know why it ended up in that position but there you go.
Any doubt that the Reddit poster is Rummel was squashed when he posted a photo of himself and a girl with today’s date on it.
