So: Wednesday, we learned Tennessee and Virginia Tech will play a football game at Bristol Motor Speedway in 2016. Many created visuals for just what such a thing would look like (ours is the best, IMHO). Some were good, some were bad.
College football Twitter reacts to Neyland Stadium being smaller than Bristol Motor Speedway
Did you know NASCAR tracks are really big?

One of the good images, which compared Tennessee’s home stadium with the track, gained steam as the most likely to earn a “Wow. RT” on Twitter. Maybe even an “Oh. RT” or a “Whoa. RT.”

This will continue, likely repeating in its entirety on Monday, when the game will be formally announced. It will repeat again in a few months when someone discovers this game is happening. It will repeat a couple more times until 2016, when we’ll start this whole process all over. And we will all laugh at the dinosaur one every time. Thanks for all you do, college football Twitter.
