Complete with all of your favorite patriotic catchphrases.

Miguel Tovar

If you were wondering if Mexican television presenters would have any shame about celebrating the late miracle goal by the United States that kept El Tri in the hunt for a World Cup berth, no, they have absolutely no shame at all. They'll accept good fortune in any way, shape or form, even if it means celebrating the accomplishments of their most hated rivals.

God bless America, y’all.

Incredibly, this is the second consecutive World Cup qualifying cycle in which the United States has saved another team with a stoppage time goal in a game that didn’t matter to them at all. In case you forgot, here’s the Honduran radio call of Jonathan Bornstein’s goal against Costa Rica in 2009.
