Bill Belichick got dressed up to go on TV

... which is to say that his cutoff sweatsuit looks ironed, at least.

Rick Stewart

Patriots grump-magus Bill Belichick did not get into football coaching for the money or glory or opportunity to condescend to the assembled media at press conferences, although he clearly likes that last one a lot.

No, he got into it because it is the right outlet for his particular type of dour genius, and also because head coaches receive unlimited access to sweatwear with the team logo on it, including sweat separates not yet available to the general public. All of that -- Belichick’s perfectly curated look and his prototype Pats sweats, including a top featuring Andy Reid-Length Sleeve and some still-in-beta sweat-capris -- is on display here.

Never stop blazing trails, coach.
