When you think “prominent Wake Forest sporting alumni,” typically you think Muggsy Bogues, and then maybe Chris Paul or Tim Duncan or, ionno, Ricky Proehl? However, it’s important to note golfing legend Arnold Palmer was also a Demon Deacon.

I wouldn’t trust a mascot to drive me on a motorcycle. That’s one of the ways Arnold Palmer and I are different.
He was in Winston-Salem for the unveiling of his statue at a golf complex named after him, so the school honored him by having him take the field with the team. But he didn’t just enter the field with the team. He entered the field with the mascot. On a motorcycle.
You would have to give me so much money to get on a motorcycle with a mascot wearing a suit that probably doesn’t provide much visibility or flexibility.
We love the Vine Wake Forest sports made, with the team jumping and carrying flags amidst smoke and Palmer and mascot calmly riding amidst the chaos
Wake Forest is up 24-3 on Maryland, so, maybe Arnold Palmer motorcycles every week.
