The most dangerous part of being a wide receiver: brick walls, apparently.
Brick walls are college football’s greatest menace
Stadiums should be more wide receiver-friendly.
In Rutgers triple-overtime thriller against SMU, the Scarlet Knights needed to pick up a third-and-24 to get points. They did more than that, though, because Gary Nova found Leonte Carroo for an improbable 29-yard TD ... but he led him just a bit too far.
Rutgers picked up a 52-49 win and this play was a big reason why so Carroo will take the bruises.
Tennessee’s Jonathon Johnson was not as heroic.
Don’t worry, everybody was okay. Although seriously why are there so many brick walls eight feet from end zones.
