I’m single, so perhaps I’m not one to talk, but I think there are few things worse in the world than sporting event proposals. I can understand perhaps if the sports team in question is a special thing for the couple in question -- they’re both huge fans, they met at a game or their first date was there or something -- but I feel like most of the time, we’re dealing with a guy inserting sports and a Jumbotron into a moment that’s supposed to be the beginning of a beautiful lifelong pact.

Look, I hope the couple has a happy marriage, but considering it started at a game where Tyler Hansbrough was the leading scorer, I’m really concerned.
