To nobody’s surprise, Miguel Cabrera won AL MVP. To nobody’s surprise, Andrew McCutchen won NL MVP.
Miguel Cabrera and Andrew McCutchen waited to find out about MVP voting by playing PS4 in super-cute product placement
When I’m elected MVP, I’m gonna spend all day playing video games with my MVP friends.

While waiting to find out the inevitable, the pair either a) interacted in the most adorable way two people about to win the most prestigious awards in a sport could possibly interact or b) participated in some extremely obvious product placement.
Long day of waiting ahead but luckily I got my #PS4 early. What game should I play 1st?… http://t.co/KKYlgyUOqu

So weird that he got his PS4 a day early in a way that helped him pass the time before his MVP announcement -- it's almost like somebody paid him to tweet about this. I hope he read the comprehensive PS4 preview from our sister site Polygon to understand how lucky he is.
@TheCutch22 jajaja looks like we got some things in common today. No fun waiting for announcements. Let's play COD while we wait for news?

¡Jajaja! It's so coincidental that Miguel Cabrera got one too and was checking Andrew McCutchen's Twitter! They're both going to win MVP!
@MiguelCabrera haha definitely, lets do it! DM me your info!

A) Andrew McCutchen should translate his laughter into Spanish for Miguel.
B) AWWWW! I’m hyper-cynical, but it honestly would be the cutest thing ever if they actually did play PS4 together while waiting to find out about their trophy.
Here’s to Cabrera and McCutchen building a tree fort together with a big NO NON-MVP’S ALLOWED sign and having Sony pay to have it hooked up with enough electronics to play video games in it.
