This year’s edition of the Alabama-Auburn series will be one of the biggest football games in state history, which is saying something. It’s also scheduled for next Saturday, not this Saturday.
Next Saturday, No. 1 Alabama heads to one-loss archrival Auburn, which could rank in the BCS top five. The game will decide the SEC West and, in the long run, quite possibly decide which of the two teams heads to the BCS National Championship.

— Haley Greene (@haleyrgreene) November 23, 2013 Auburn does not have a home game this Saturday. Nothing is happening at Jordan-Hare Stadium until the Alabama game next week. These people are here more than 168 hours early. Alabama hasn’t even played its November 23 game yet, that’s how far in advance we are.
