Win a football game, get a gun. The West perpetuates its own mythology, and we kind of love it.


The Wyoming and Utah State are all set to kick off “Bridger’s Battle,” named for trapper, trader, scout and scallywag Jim Bridger. And there’s a prize for winning the football game in this new grudge match: a .50 caliber, black powder rifle.
