Iowa and Xavier played a thrilling game at the Battle 4 Atlantis, with the No. 23 Hawkeyes rallying back to send the game to overtime and eventually beating the Musketeers 74-71.
Iowa baby is not enjoying the Battle 4 Atlantis
Iowa won. This little child did not care.
However, as the camera cut to the crowd at one crucial late juncture while the sound system blasted “JUMP AROUND,” it became clear that the Hawkeyes’ smallest fan was not enjoying the exciting game.
COME ON, LITTLE KID? DON’T YOU UNDERSTAND THAT THE FATE OF A FICTIONAL UNDERWATER LOST CITY IS BEING BATTLED 4?
The Battle 4 Atlantis is incredibly weird. After watching for a few minutes, it becomes clear that they’re not playing in a basketball stadium, but rather a ballroom at Atlantis resort in the Bahamas. There’s, like, carpeting surrounding the floor. If you have a baby, you deserve a vacation, since so far as I can tell, having a baby is months/years/decades of hell. But your baby won’t enjoy it since babies don’t get why the Bahamas are so nice. They also hate loud noises, bright lights, and apparently, people giving them high fives. My point is, you deserve to bring your baby to an Iowa basketball game in a hotel ballroom in the Bahamas, but you’d better hope the camera is far away from you.
