Good news: the stadium’s drainage system appears to be working! Bad news: the way it appears to work is by dumping tons and tons of rain on certain seats and make them completely useless.
Although one bold man dared to continue sitting in those seats:
It’s hampering the ability of the offenses to operate somewhat -- both defenses were already stout before the rain came, with Carolina up just 7-6 at the half, and some sloppy play coming afterwards.
In case you’re wondering why this happened: probably because they made Brian McKnight sing Christmas carols at halftime, when it was still perfectly nice:
