Chip Kelly's intro to the NFL is off to a rousing start on the heels of the Riley Cooper incident. How well he deals with that will give him an early test at the helm of a pro team. Nick Cody, one of Kelly's former offensive linemen with the Ducks, used the occasion to remind everyone of another hassle from Kelly's past.
Remember when LeGarrette Blount sucker-punched a player? So does his ex-teammate
Just a couple former teammates talking about old times.

@dpshow Coach Kelly had to deal with way worse controversies when he was starting as a head coach at Oregon... isn't that right @L_Blount27?

Cody is referring to the time in 2009 when LeGarrette Blount sucker punched a Boise State player.
@justfollow61 Are you serious?? Don't tweet me with that bullcrap you dumb ass!
— LeGarrette Blount (@L_Blount27) August 1, 2013
Aw man, why'd you have to go and drag Blount into the Cooper thing? He's trying to make a fresh start with the Patriots.
Cody and some Oregon fans continued the skirmish on Twitter.
@oregon_girl3 true... bur you know what's really not cool? Having your first college game be a terrifying national embarrassment.

@oregon_girl3 no, I'm pretty sure when member of the winning team gets sucker punched that doesn't cause embarrassment, just anger.

@firenards1 if you weren't there. The team was basically stuck in a high school-sized lockers waiting for BSU fans to stop mobbing the bus
