Okay, so the reason this looks like it happened in 1993 instead of on Tuesday night is because it was a live stream shown only on the Winnipeg Jets’ website. The second thing is that HOLY CRAP Dustin Byfuglien put Ryan Hamilton through a dang door.
From the Winnipeg Free Press:
“I guess whoever was in charge of that door over there didn’t quite lock it and the poor kid went through,” said Byfuglien of the Hamilton hit. “He just kind of looked at me like, ‘Oh, oh.’... I think he was just as shocked as I was.”
