LeBron James was eight years old when Ohio native Jason Goudlock was arrested for aggravated robbery and felonious assault. Now the prisoner wants a release so he can see King James.
Felon requests prison release to see LeBron James play

Goudlock filed his fifth appeal to the Ohio State Parole Board and invoked the Cavaliers star as a reason why he should be released. Much of his letter was serious, but there are two lines that really stand out.
“I urge you to retire #248-561 because I have history to make.”
This is Goudlock’s inmate number. We’ll wager that the Toledo correctional facility where he’s held won’t hang his jumpsuit from the rafters.
“On the lighter side, I would truly like to witness in person LeBron James’ pursuit of an NBA championship for my beloved hometown.”
Here’s a rhetorical technique we can approve of. Let’s face it: Unlike his first tenure in Cleveland, LeBron has a seriously good team around him now. There’s a very good chance the Cavaliers could run the table in 2014-15, and any serious Ohio sports fan wants to witness it. Appeal to their sensibilities, Jason.
Goudlock’s scheduled release is in 2026. If released he plans to work with at-risk youth.
