— Jim (@jseesel) October 26, 2014 Bears fans have made up their minds on Jay Cutler
The Chicago Tribune asked Bears fans about Jay Cutler. Their answer was resounding, and not good for Jay.

We can confirm that's a real poll. And it was posted *before* today's 51-23 beatdown at the hands of the Patriots.
This is unfair for a few reasons. First, the “elite quarterback” question is always a silly argument that’s both entirely subjective on one’s definition of “elite” and tends to be used to shame good QBs for not being good enough. Second, there are quite a few problems with the Bears besides Cutler: they gave up 51 points Sunday. 51! Sure, six of them were off of a Cutler fumble and he threw a pick, but he also threw three TDs.
That said, Jay Cutler is ... probably not elite.
Is this sadder than the poll that asked a very, very similar question about Eli Manning?
