To recap: Justin Bieber hung out with the Steelers Saturday night. On Sunday, the Steelers lost. To the Jets. Some people, including Terry Bradshaw, believe the loss is in part due to the Steelers allowing an “outsider” into their regular Saturday bible study. Time to play BLAME THE BIEB.
Ben Roethlisberger claims Justin Bieber didn’t curse the Steelers
Methinks thou doth protest too much, Benjamin.
In Tuesday’s installment of “actual things an athlete had to say,” we have this, from Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger:
“That’s not a big deal at all,” Roethlisberger said on 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh. “For instance, [former Steelers wide receiver] Plaxico Burress stopped by. Obviously he’s family, but people stop by all of the time and say, ‘Hi,’ and we’ve had other athletes, actors, celebrities, stuff like that stop by. It’s not a big deal at all.
“It was all fun for him and the guys. [Bieber] is one of the more popular guys for good or for bad in the country, so they had a chance to say hello and they did.”
Justin Bieber: for good or for bad, he’s popular.
