Except as you heard, Chris Petersen had called for a timeout before Skowron’s attempt. Skowron drilled the second one:
And Arizona got the 27-26 win. Skowron had run for a 19-yard TD on a fake earlier, so this might be the best day of his life.
This is your reminder that icing kickers basically just gives them a practice shot and college kickers aren’t particularly good so it’s a crapshoot anyway.
