Kobe shoots so much out of self-defense

Kobe Bryant is on a truly hideous team for the first time in his career. He is not content to watch his teammates blow game after game, so he's going to do it himself. He took 34 FGAs and 16 free throws in 31 minutes on Sunday, scoring 44 points in three quarters as the Lakers lost to the Warriors by 21. And afterward, he explained why he shot so much.
