It would have been easy to remain silent, or laugh, or even boo the “Star Spangled Banner” like we’ve unfortunately seen happen with the Canadian anthem at hockey games stateside -- but Toronto Maple Leafs fans didn’t.
We often hear the phrase “goosebumps” after a good anthem rendition, but there’s something about hearing thousands of citizens from another country belt it out that truly sends shivers down your spine.
