Yep, you're reading that right. After one quarter Russell Westbrook has more points than THE ENTIRE NEW YORK KNICKS TEAM! This is also his first game back after a major injury so ... things are going swimmingly.
It’s not just that Russ is dominating, it’s that he’s making people look silly.
UPDATE: Westbrook couldn’t stay ahead of the Knicks the entire night, but he did finish with 32 points on 12-of-17 shooting (3-of-4 from three), eight assists and seven rebounds to help OKC to a 105-78 win. He became the first player in the shot-clock era to record 32 points and eight assists in 24 or fewer minutes.
Not bad coming off a month-long layoff.
