This map shows the No. 1 NFL jersey among women in every state
James Dator has been covering a wide range of sports for SB Nation for over a decade, with a special focus on the NFL.
Dick’s Sporting Goods has a new map of jersey sales and it shows which players are resonating among female NFL fans.
The chain compiled all jerseys purchased by women online and in-store from May 2014 until October 2014, and each state is represented by the top-selling jersey. There’s are a few interesting things we noticed.
- Jason Witten is owning Texas but it’s OK,Tony Romo, there’s always Alaska for you.
- Oregon is Andrew Luck country. Even though Luck is not from Oregon, playing for a nearby team, or went to Oregon.
- Why does
New HampshireVermont love Drew Brees? Anyone? - BORTLE KOMBAT!
- Pockets of Heath Miller appear in the weirdest of places.
