Yes, a Washington State person ended up on the ground after contact ... but he didn’t have the ball.
Washington State would score on the next play, but, yikes! “Knowing which player has the ball” is kind of an important skill for refs, and they did not do that here. We’re also sure Tyler Baker would’ve liked a TD in his stats after breaking that tackle, but it wasn’t to be.
