Cardinals lineman tries to hide challenge flag, is NOT smooth

Arizona Cardinals coach Bruce Arians threw a challenge flag after a turnover on Thursday Night Football, and since turnovers are automatically reviewed, that was deemed by the refs to be an “inappropriate time” to throw a challenge flag. Sensing his team was about to get penalized, Arians told center Lyle Sendlein to go grab the flag before the refs noticed.

It did not go well.

When that didn’t work, Arians just went with the old “it fell out of my pocket excuse.”
