Tyson Chandler blocks Marreese Speights’ shoe

Marreese Speights lost his shoe while on the court during an NBA game. That happens from time to time. Embarrassing and rare, but not unheard of. What happened next is what makes it spectacular:

Stephen Curry tried to pass Speights his shoe mid-play and Tyson Chandler -- always looking for an opportunity to slap something flying through the air and prevent it from getting it to its destination -- swatted it away, forcing Speights to work slightly harder for his shoe.

Here’s how the shoe came off:

Curry, much more concerned than Speights with the shoe predicament, took time while holding the ball to cast it aside so it wouldn’t interfere with play.
