For Gary II, it was the assists: Even though the junior college transfer is only 6'3, he leads the Beavers in both scoring and rebounding with 13.9 and 9.4 per game. Four assists was his season high until tonight -- perhaps he and his teammates were conscious of the history they could make, especially considering they were playing against literally the worst team in college basketball.
