Did the Raptors just reveal their new logo?

The Toronto Raptors released a new rally video entitled “This is our shield,” and it might have teased the team’s new logo, which is reportedly in the works for the 2015-16 season.
It’s a pretty cool design, but physics tells us this is impossible. There’s no way a velociraptor could claw a basketball and it would remain inflated.
It looks... well...a lot like the Nets’ logo:
