Dating profiles in Kentucky use ‘basketball’ more than any other word

Sports are life, and showing your athletic leanings is key to selling yourself in online dating profiles. While most states use words like “hikes” and “mountains,” Kentuckians are the only people who talk about basketball.
Mashable asked Match.com to pull the most commonly used words in online dating profiles, and Kentucky has the best sports-related one, with Indiana coming a close second with “NASCAR.” The absolute funniest word goes to Mississippi, where “lookin” is a staple of a good profile.
