Kicking a football is a three-step process.
- Run towards the ball.
- Plant your foot.
- Kick the ball.
Louisiana Tech kicker Jonathan Barnes failed at step two, which led to an abomination on step three. The ball traveled 40 yards and went out of bounds. Poor guy. Remember, kickers, like punters, are people, too.
