Idaho is playing UC Davis right now, and this happened:
Idaho’s court doesn’t have a charge circle, that’s a technical foul
Wait, how long has the court at Idaho been messed up?
Technical foul called because the court didn't have the charge circle painted in the key. pic.twitter.com/klfyE7DcHG
— Vandal Nation (@VandalNation) December 6, 2014 As that Twitter account notes, this is called an administrative technical foul. Your team has uniforms with illegal numbers? Administrative technical foul. Violations not related to the actual stuff that happens during the game.
But what makes this one weird is that it’s about court markings. The markings that are on the court for every game. This is Idaho’s fifth home game of the season. at the Cowan Spectrum. Have refs just not been able to make block/charge calls for the entirety of Idaho’s season? Did none of the previous refs notice this? I mean, it looks pretty obvious when you see the court.
