Fans of snowboarding complain about the lack of triple flips in judging, ice hockey fans direct their ire at a referee for missing a pivotal call, curling fans are upset about... we don’t know, brooms or something? Ice dancing fans draft petitions.
Canadians take ice dancing very seriously
What happens when your team trails in ice dancing?

Canada is currently in sixth place in the medal tally, but that was supposed to change thanks to Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir in ice dancing. They came in second following the short dance to the USA pairing of Meryl Davis and Charlie White, which incensed fans in Canada, causing the drafting of a petition.
“I appeal to all of your consciences.”
Please, look into that part of your heart where good comes from. Embrace that, then read my heartfelt plea.
“do not stand aside to the outrageous scores of the short dance.”

“There were rumours about biased judges and now those rumours have become a real concern”
Fun fact: “now” is a synonym for “when our team is losing”
“Please SIGN this petition to complain about the unfair marking.”
Fun fact: “unfair marking” is now a synonym for “when our team is losing.” Also see: “We watch this sport every four years.”
“#TOGETHER 4 #TESSA&SCOTT”
Oh man, this thing is going viral.
