Russians still mad, take hockey protest to American Embassy

Вы с ума сошли, братан?

Russian players felt cheated after their loss to the Americans on Saturday in Olympic group play, basically saying that Jonathan Quick and the U.S. team cheated on a disallowed Russian goal in the third period.

The fans have now taken the protest to the American Embassy.

A (very) rough translation, via Eronko: “Ref needs specs” ... but more rude than that.

Meier, the official in question here, is an NHL ref from Dayton, Ohio. That’s in America. CONSPIRACY!

In all seriousness, Meier made the right call according to IIHF rules. Sorry, Russia. Maybe you should have focused on stopping T.J. Oshie. OH WAIT THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE
