Tim Byrdak had a hardy MLB career. The left-handed reliever managed to bounce around the MLB for parts of 12 seasons, even coming back to the bigs after a four-year gap where he dipped through an independent league. But now he’s 40, and after shoulder surgery, he only managed to make it into eight games at the end of last season for the Mets. And in those games, he had a 7.71 ERA. It seems like the Byrdak, so to speak, has flown.
Tim Byrdak tweets ad asking MLB teams to sign him
Pitchers and catchers have reported, but no team has called Tim Byrdak. He’s trying to change that, but we wouldn’t get our hopes up.

Suffice it to say, teams aren’t calling for Tim Byrdak. So he’s trying to drum up interest by himself:

We imagine he is driving his wife crazy, considering he’s been tweeting images of himself playing pretend Winter Olympian around his house.
