Madison Rising prides itself on being “America’s most patriotic rock band.” However, prior to Saturday’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race, it’s not hyperbole to say that the band may have performed one of the worst renditions of the national anthem known to mankind.
The national anthem at Daytona was awful
The band Madison Rising submitted its entry for worst national anthem ever prior to Saturday’s NASCAR race at Daytona.
If you haven’t heard it, consider yourself lucky. But for those of you who would like to make your ears bleed, the video is below. And if there is a lesson in all this: When performing the national anthem, keep it simple, keep it straightforward and most of all, keep it classy.
