Pebble Beach Pro-Am pairs American flag pants John Daly with Kid Rock

The Pebble Beach Pro-Am is a silly event. I mean, it’s a great event, because it’s one of the world’s most beautiful golf courses and it raises money for charity, but it’s a silly event, since it asks professional golfers to play with celebrities. I mean, professional golfers have to play with, like, Don Cheadle, and Ray Romano, and Kenny G. (They’re all there.)

However, it’s obvious the person doing the pairings isn’t just doing them blindly. For example: Bill Belichick and Tom Brady are in the same group. Andy Roddick and James Blake are in the same group.

And they made the best golf pairing of all time. Ever. In the history of golf.
