We’ve been put on record as saying people should not propose at sporting events. Don’t propose at sporting events! Propose somewhere meaningful! Don’t put the proposee under massive amounts of peer pressure!
Nebraska senior Mike Peltz proposes on Senior Day
You’re allowed to propose at sporting events if you’re on the team / everybody is already cheering for you.

Anyway, there are exceptions to the rule. Like if you’re Nebraska walk-on/fan favorite Mike Peltz, and it’s your senior day, and you’ve got the microphone for a speech:
Personally, our favorite part of this isn't the shocked reaction on his thrilled now-fiancée's face, or even Nebraska fans chanting "U-S-A" for no apparent reason (I'm not smart: "She Said Yes!" Impressive chant turnaround time by the Nebraska fans.) It's the reaction of Peltz's teammates:
You might recognize this reaction: it’s the “Player on team makes big play leading to opposing team timeout group run-onto-the-court.” Except this wasn’t a big three or a huge dunk... it was a dude getting engaged.
Congrats to Peltz and his fiancée on completing the rare Good Sports Proposal.
