On Feb. 16, Rutgers played Louisville and lost. It lost by a lot. It lost 102-54, meaning the other team had 89 percent more points than it did, which is bad.
Rutgers basketball got blown off the face of the earth by Louisville
Rutgers lost 92-31. Ninety-two to thirty-one. In a conference tournament basketball game.

It was matched up against the Cardinals in the first round of The American tournament Thursday, and surely it studied the game-tape and was ready to NOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Yup, Rutgers lost by 61 points. Louisville had 296 percent the amount of points than Rutgers had. It scored 12 baskets and turned the ball over 26 times.
FINAL: Louisville 92, Rutgers 31. If Louisville's starters had not scored a single point, the Cardinals would have won 32-31.
— SportsCenter (@SportsCenter) March 13, 2014 Louisville could've just chilled out in the second half and not scored a single point ... and won by 27. If you added together Rutgers' last two games against Louisville, it would have 85 points, which is less than Louisville scored Thursday.
This is what we in the business call NOT VERY GOOD. We look forward to this being a Big Ten/ACC matchup next year.
Our personal favorite zing:
Louisville 87, Champion Brunswick 30

Meanwhile, Utah thanks Rutgers:
