Josh Wise drives the No.98 car in the Sprint Cup Series, without a sponsor. It’s tough to compete without funding, so the folks of Reddit decided to take his sponsorship into their own hands. They have a simple goal: wrapping his car in peer-to-peer currency dogecoin, because the internet.

Fundraising just opened and so far a total of 76,611.16648323 dogecoins have been donated (around $65) with a total of $436 being raised. It will take $55,000 to sponsor the car. It might seem like frivolity, but Wise is on board.

There’s also a paint job contest being conducted at r/NASCAR to design Wise’s car, should the funds be raised.
