Steve Smith runs newspaper ad to thank Panthers fans

When Panthers receiver Steve Smith first left the Panthers to sign with the Ravens this offseason, things got a little heated. Smith first said that there will be “blood and guts” when he plays against the Panthers again, but then again, he has a bit of a history in saying inflammatory things.

So it’s nice to see the three-quarter-page ad he ran in the Charlotte Observer on Saturday:
