Mercer is still dancing and we still love them

Kevin Canevari is our favorite thing about March Madness. We’ll miss you.

James Dator has been covering a wide range of sports for SB Nation for over a decade, with a special focus on the NFL.

The Mercer Bears might be leaving the NCAA tournament, but at least we had one last chance to see Kevin Canevari bust a move. It might not have been in celebration, but a moment of purity before the game began.

It’s tough to say this because goodbyes are tough, but we love you, Mercer. We really love you. Let us count the ways.

1. You beat Duke, that means a lot.

2. Your support of Kevin Canevari’s NaeNae.

3. A willingness to robobomb your head coach.

4. Just being you.

See you next year, Mercer. We’ll never forget our whirlwind romance.
