We were perturbed and confused when we saw this still of a halftime performance in Orlando:
Discussing the dude who speed-paints at NBA Halftime shows
At first we were disturbed by this painting of Nick Anderson, and then it turned into a painting of Nick Anderson.
What the hell is going on here? There’s a guy with a paintbrush? And a guitarist, who may be in Hinder?
We were even more perturbed when our resident GIFster made a GIF:
AAAAAHHHHHHH. HE’S EDWARD SCISSORHANDS. BUT WITH PAINTBRUSHES. And it doesn’t really look like he’s painting anything?
We got some clarity here:
We looked up the person in question, Rock DeMarco, a speedpainter:

“PAINT IT LOUD”?!?!?! Loud is not a way you can paint. Paint is colors. Loud is sound.
We’re starting to get really skeptical of this dude. This whole speed-painting thing is kinda dum-- wait
Hey, that actually does look kinda like Nick Anderson.
That’s actually super-impressive. I mean, it’s not the Red Panda Acrobat, but we’re all suffering while she’s injured.
