A 27-year-old college lecturer in England decided to drop a $1600 bet on Rory McIlroy to win The Masters after seeing the golfer’s face in his breakfast. The man planned to make a bet anyway, but told The Mirror that his pastry was trying to tell him something.
“It’s got to be a sign - Rory’s face on a piece of food from his girlfriend’s home country. My mates have had a giggle and think I’m mad, but if I pocket €14,400, I’ll be the one laughing.”
There’s no word whether he ate the pastry, but it looks a little dry.
