Watch cricket’s “catch of the century”

In unclear how Chris Lynn contorted his body to make this catch, but he did. The 24-year-old Australian plays for the Kolkata Knight Riders of the Indian Premier League and prevented cricket’s equivalent of a home run by jumping backwards off one knee.

Lynn misjudged the flight of the ball which put him out of position. If he jumps backwards and hits the barrier (or “boundary”) it’s not a catch, if he doesn’t make an effort it’s six runs. In the end he did things perfectly... somehow.
