101-year-old grandma throws out Blue Jays’ first pitch

Kitty Cohen is 101 years old, making her the oldest Canadian to throw out a ceremonial first pitch in Blue Jays’ history.

It’s fine if you’re impressed, but save some of that for her next trick, in which she’ll walk the 30-kilometer Weekend to End Womens’ Cancer. Again. She’s raised over $20,000 already doing so over six years.

Cohen was already 64 years old when the Blue Jays played their first-ever game in 1977. She’s also been to the playoffs just as often as the Jays since 1994.
