Historians will look back on this video and remember it for one of two reasons. Either this is the beginning of “Skynet” and we’re all doomed until John Connor can save us, or this is the start of the robo football league we’ve all dreamed of.

Scientists have created a robotic arm that can catch fast-moving objects in a split-second. The technology has huge potential in a variety of applications where it can help make dangerous workplaces safer, but we really hope this is SportsCenter one day.
