Almost two weeks have passed since Broncos receiver and astute gambler Wes Welker won over $50,000 on the Kentucky Derby and handed it out to the world. Now someone’s looking for a cut, Churchill Downs.

TMZ is reporting that the horse racing venue claims Welker was overpaid by almost $15,000 and wants the money back. Churchill Downs claims it was due to a machine malfunction and sent the wide receiver a letter.
It’s unclear whether Welker has paid back the money yet, but maybe he’ll pay it forward (or backward) and take back those $100 bills he handed out. In any event here’s an artist’s rendering of Welker returning to Churchill Downs.
