Randy Wittman appreciates that the Wizards ‘let me ride them’

He was actually saying something very profound and serious, but we’re going to run with it anyway.

Yes, we know what Washington Wizards coach Randy Wittman really meant when he uttered this quote following the team’s Game 6 loss to the Pacers to end his season.

“I could not be more proud of the group of guys than I am of these guys,” Wittman said. “They gave me their heart and soul this year. They let me ride them, let me love them.”

But this is the second time Wittman has referenced “riding” his team. It’s becoming clear that the Wizards’ gruff head coach, who has an entire hashtag devoted to his angry faces, is a secret Ginuwine fan.
